The Social Insurance Scheme, which came into force on 6 October 1980, provides that the Enclaved are insured as self-employed persons on the basis of the minimum imputed income of the professional class of farmers.
Because they are insured under the Social Insurance Scheme, the Enclaved are entitled to all benefits of the Social Insurance Fund provided they meet the required insurance contributions and other conditions.
