Students from the American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) travel and visit Cyprus, Greece and Washington on an annual basis through the College Student Foreign Policy Study program.
The Office of the Presidential Commissioner and in particular the Service for Overseas Expatriated Cypriots, is responsible for compiling the programme and for the proper conduct of the mission's hospitality programme.
The Programme aims to help Greek and Cypriot students studying in American Universities in the US, to better understand the core of the foreign policy regarding issues that are important to the Greek Cypriot American community. Through the programme students gain experience and knowledge on foreign policy issues affecting Cyprus, Greek and Cypriot relations with the United States, US interests in the Eastern Mediterranean, etc. Through this programme students are able to better support these topics at their universities, businesses and workplaces.
In 2019, students from AHIF visited Cyprus from 22 to 27 June 2019. Photos of their visit are presented below.
