Conference of overseas Cypriots to take place 26-29 July 2022, CNA - CYPRUS/Nicosia 18/11/2021
Presidential commissioner Photis Photiou had a videoconference with heads of Diaspora organisations on Thursday during which they discussed various problems overseas Cypriots are faced with and they decided that the overseas conference will take place in Nicosia, 26-29 July 2022.
A press release says that during the videoconference they exchanged views on the need for better coordination of the various departments and services in Cyprus that deal with overseas Cypriots` issues.
During the upcoming conference a great number of Diaspora youth is going to attend.
Photiou also briefed the heads of Diaspora organisations on some problems that arose as regards the issuing of passports, id`s and other documents. He also expressed his appreciation for their efforts to promote the Cyprus issue.
